Orchids are divided into two basic growth types: monopodial and sympodial. Monopodial orchids have a central stem which grows continuously from the tip. Flowers are produced from the stem between the leaves, usually alternately from side to side.
I'm a library that was born on January 20, 2007. A previous incarnation of me was created in August of 1965, but I've metamorphosed into a beautiful, new library with a view of the East hills. I enjoy meeting new people, so please come in and say "Hi!"
